- 17.6 oz (500 gr) Greek yogurt (or drained yogurt made from cow's or sheep's milk)
- 1 cucumber
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- ½ bunch of dill
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp wine vinegar
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds.
- Grate it and season with salt.
- Place in a sieve and leave to drain for approximately 15 mins.
- Add the cucumber to the yogurt. Press in the garlic.
- Finely chop the dill and add to the yogurt mixture.
- Season with 4 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Stir well until everything is well combined.
- Cover the tzatziki with cling film and leave to infuse in the fridge for 4 hours.
